Significant progress was made today in advancing the Donovon Lynch case investigation and analysis.
A refined timeline of events from March 26–27, 2021, was developed, incorporating additional detail and clarifying key movements in the minutes leading up to the shooting. This includes a more precise reconstruction of both Donovon Lynch’s and Officer Solomon Simmons’ positions and actions.
New materials were also added to the site, including supporting documents from the Lynch and Harris lawsuits, strengthening the evidentiary foundation of the investigation.
A major analysis piece was published examining the exact moments of the shooting, focusing on the lack of confirmed police identification, the absence of visual evidence that Lynch brandished a weapon, and the role of chaotic conditions in shaping the encounter.
Additionally, a new reference page—“Key Officers Involved”—was created, providing a clear breakdown of each officer’s role, what they observed, and what they could not recall.
Together, these updates deepen the factual record and sharpen the central questions surrounding the shooting.
